My Story: This year will be my first time competing in the U.S. Transplant Games. My participation as an athlete is due to the generosity of my father, Ralph Loxley, in donating one of his kidneys to me a half year ago. Because of his love and caring, I can now lead a healthy and normal life. I am now able to go back to college to earn my bachelor's degree. By competing in the Transplant Games, I will be honoring my father for the gift of life he has shared with me.
My Message to the World: By competing in the U.S. Transplant Games, I feel that I will be honoring all those who have given and received the gift of life.
